A 6-WEEK MINDFULNESS EXPLORATION (for women/womxn only)

INTRO

A 6-week course for inner discovery and outer connection. Each week, I will introduce a new theme* and will guide various exercises stemming from Mindfulness meditation to explore it. Together, we will reconnect to our innate sense of presence on a weekly basis, with the support of an in-person women’s group.

My personal inspirations arising from the investigation of a more aware, non-violent and sustainable way of living directly shape the path of this individual and group journey. At times of insidious – as well as more obvious – social isolation, I wish for this real-life course (with reasonable distancing;) to be a time and space for self-care, in a solidary & supporting context for this process. As the days also get shorter in Berlin, let’s get cosy together.

Regularity and community can be very supportive to develop, deepen and sustain our personal meditation practice – as well as a great source of inspiration and learning.

CLASS FORMAT - 90 Minutes

Each class will be composed of a different mix of guided/unguided 

  • Seated or lying down practice in stillness, 

  • Walking meditation,

  • Mindful free-form movement and dance improvisation, 

  • A space and time for mindful communication, journaling, reflecting and sharing about our experiences. Of course, you will never have to practice or share anything if it doesn’t feel right on the moment. :) 

THEMES*

Week 1 | SLOWING DOWN - To engage in a mindful process, a slower pace can help us lay the grounds for inner and outer contemplation. We will observe the dynamics of pace in our practice and inquire how this shapes our lives.

W2 | THE INTUITIVE BODY & TRUST - Cultivating a broad and detailed awareness of the body in stillness, and exploring the body’s intuitive possibilities in movement. Alongside, we will observe how trust operates in our inner & outer dynamics and invite ourselves to nourish it. 

W3 | INSIDE & OUT - Uncovering conceptual & physical borders, observing the contrast and connections between inner and outer worlds, between ourselves and others, ourselves and the environment. Exploring perspectives towards interconnectedness.

W3 | bis Mindful in nature: + In that week/weekend, we will find a common date to practice 1 hour outdoors, to deepen this theme in nature together +

W4 | RICHNESS OF THE SENSES & MINDFUL EATING - Sense opening session, mindful eating introduction and silent vegetarian/vegan dinner (vege/vegan dinner included:).

W5 | THE SOUND OF SILENCE - A session investigating gently the roles of silence and speech, practicing a longer silent meditation as well as exercises of mindful communication. How often do we allow ourselves to take a breath, close our eyes and pause in a conversation? 

W6 | INSPIRED PRESENCE - For this last session, nourishing presence and sharing inspirations, we will each be invited to share a piece of inspiration with the group: it can be a song, a recipe, a short story, the description of a special moment... something or someone that brought or brings sparks into your life.

Sliding scale depending on your financial situation

125 € (comfortable) - 110 € (tight)

  • 90 Minutes class during 6 weeks

  • 1 outdoors practice together 

  • 1 vegetarian/vegan dinner 

Please bring: 

  • Comfy clothes to move freely, warm socks

  • A notebook and a pen 

  • Your own bowl + small plate and cutlery: ONLY for the mindful eating session
