A deep dive into mindfulness meditation practices

If you’re curious about mindfulness meditation or if you wish to develop a regular practice, join me on this 6-week journey. Each week, I’ll introduce a specific aspect of our present-moment experience with talks, guided meditations, a time for questions and reflections, and a home practice to integrate:

Week 1 | Introduction and overview of mindfulness

Week 2 | Mindfulness of body

Week 3 | Flavours of experience and obstacles

Week 4 | Mindfulness of emotions

Week 5 | Mindfulness of mental processes

Week 6 | Cultivating kindness & tips for further practice

This course is about exploring presence – being in the here and now, feeling your feet on the ground, the air on your skin but also thoughts or emotions that arise and pass – and the different ways we can relate to each moment’s immediate reality.

Mindfulness meditation is the art of slowing down to become more intimate with our internal and interrelational life. The practice can allow us to fully inhabit pleasurable but also difficult experiences while creating a space for choice in the response we bring to it. It’s a practice of attending to the moments of our life and of creating more freedom in how we choose to navigate those.

*The 6-week SIT Course

This course has been developed by the established mindfulness teachers Mark Coleman & Martin Aylward at the Mindfulness Training Institute, and this will be my first teaching cycle of the course as a part of my study curriculum. I’ll share the program in a digestible and playful way using my inspirations from my present and past experiences also gathered in my previous Mindfulness teacher training.
