A guided sensory exploration of food in the Silent Rixdorf garden flowing through a sense opening meditation, playful practices & a 3-course vegan dinner in silence.
Our senses are gateways to presence. They connect us to ourselves, to our internal life but also to the wondrous world and beings beyond the limits of our skin. In collaboration with cook Mariana di Paola, this workshop combines meditative practices and active explorations to discover the possibilities of sensory presence.
We* invite you to dive into the fluid waters of the unknown, the fresh, the new that can appear with our ability to observe, to be receptive but also proactively curious about how it truly feels to be present in our bodies, approaching the world with our senses.
During this 3-hour-journey, we’ll flow through
_ a grounding meditation,
_ playful practices connecting to our bodies, senses and our voice,
_ the experience of eating mindfully and in silence,
_ & some optional sharing** about our experiences.
In a way, everything is optional if it doesn't feel right for you at that moment. However, we encourage each of us to explore slightly unknown territories to perhaps discover unsuspected beauty and treasures.

*ABOUT Mariana & Léa
Mariana is a Berlin-based Uruguayan cook. Eager to develop her knowledge around food experiences, she embarked for an internship at Noma and then started working for some of Berlin’s finest bakeries & restaurants. Her passion for food is rooted in her belief that the food we eat and the way we eat it can impact how we treat ourselves and the world around us in so many ways. Through creating vegan delights, she’s an inspiration to investigate our relationship to food, in a playful, surprising and inviting way.
Léa is a trained mindfulness meditation facilitator currently expanding her explorations in the field of embodiment and somatic practices. The perspective-shifting insights Léa encountered in her personal practice, as well as the knowledge and experience she gained in her trainings feed her genuine motivation to hold space for contemplative & explorative practices. As best she can, Léa aims to do so in an accessible, playful and inclusive way that encourages putting aside perfectionism, rigid norms and performance of any kind.
